Can you walk on a fibreglass roof? We are looking to have the garage roof done with GRP Roofing and want to use the roof as a balcony, is this possible?
Yes you can however if you’re expecting a lot of foot traffic on the roof you might want to invest in a double layer fibreglass construction which will give you more durability. Another thing to think about is the surface finish. Fibreglass roofing, once cured is extremely smooth so you might want to look at adding an anti-slip finish which will provide considerably more grip particularly in wet conditions.
