Introducing the New Overcoat System Kits for Roofs and Gutters
We’ve launched a new range of Overcoat Roofing System Kits, created to make specifying and applying the Overcoat system simpler, faster and more reliable for a wide range of flat roofing and gutter projects.
Instead of selecting each part separately, the new kits offer everything in a single convenient package. They include the Overcoat resin system along with the appropriate primer for your surface. You can also add optional extras such as preparation products, detailing materials, and tool kits, allowing each kit to be easily customised to suit the specific requirements of your project.
What is Overcoat?
Overcoat is a next-generation, advanced STP (Silane-Terminated Polymer) liquid roofing system designed to provide long-term waterproof protection across flat roofs, gutters and associated details. It can be used on new roofs but is equally effective for repairs and full roof refresh projects, allowing existing surfaces to be restored without removal in most cases.
The system bonds directly to virtually any substrate, including concrete, felt, asphalt, lead, metal, and other common roofing materials. This makes Overcoat suitable for both domestic and commercial applications, from small repairs to complete surface refurbishments.
Overcoat is engineered to resolve many of the most common roofing issues on flat roofs and gutters, including persistent leaks, ageing membranes, UV degradation, cracking, ponding areas and cut-edge corrosion. By forming a continuous, fully bonded waterproof layer, the system eliminates joints, laps and weak points, helping extend the roof’s service life.
What’s Included in Each Kit
Each Overcoat Roofing System Kit includes the resin system and, if necessary, the appropriate primer for the surface being coated. This guarantees the system is correctly prepared and ready for application without requiring additional core products. Each kit is built around the standard 21kg Overcoat unit, pre-matched with primer and detailing tape so a specifier can order a complete gutter or roof job in a single line.
To suit different projects and roof conditions, a range of optional extras can also be added. These include Sharkseal for jointing and detailing, Roofrinse Fungicidal Roof Wash and Mould Remover for surface preparation, and tool kits matched to different roof sizes and application requirements. These additions allow the kit to be tailored to the specific needs of each job.

How to Order
To generate your kit, simply visit overcoating.co.uk/kits, enter the substrate you are working on and the size of your roof or gutter area. The system will then configure the correct Overcoat kit for your project, supplying the resin and the appropriate primer already matched to your surface.
At launch, the kits are available for 12 different surface types, covering the most common flat roofing substrates used across domestic and commercial buildings. Additional substrate types will be added over the coming months, so you’ll be able to build kits for an even wider range of surface types.
