Technical overview
Sharkseal is a single-part, neutral-cure adhesive sealant formulated from Allbase Hybrid Polymer technology. The product is solvent-free and isocyanate-free, making it safe for indoor and outdoor use, and is paintable with most paints subject to testing.
Sharkseal provides an instant waterproof seal on building materials whether wet or dry, and can be applied in the rain and underwater to stop leaks. It adheres to most common roofing materials including bitumen, asphalt, felt, metals, wood and fibreglass, with excellent weathering and UV resistance properties and non-sag characteristics.
Clean joint surfaces thoroughly and remove all loose material and moss using a wire brush before application. Extrude the sealant liberally over the damaged surface. Clean any excess with turps or white spirit before curing. Cured sealant can be removed by scraping or sanding.
