Aerospace, construction and wind customers increasingly have to report the embodied carbon of what they specify. The usual route is a separate, commissioned study that arrives long after the material is chosen. This is an indicative cradle-to-gate estimate from published category factors, designed to inform the choice at the point of specification. It is not a defensible, source-specific per-product LCA for your own compliance reporting; where that is needed, the verified breakdown and supporting detail are available on registration.
Two laminates met the same structural brief, but their indicative cradle-to-gate figures were far apart: one carried roughly twice the embodied carbon of the other, mostly in manufacturing. Seeing both figures alongside the specs at the point of choosing made the lower-impact option the obvious one, with no compromise on the requirement.

We developed the life cycle assessment behind the product and built a custom comparison calculator into their website, letting their customers weigh the new product against competing options on environmental impact, directly, with the figures rather than the claim. It turned a sustainability story into a tool buyers could use themselves, and gave the manufacturer a credible, defensible way to show the difference.
