Surfacing veil

A lightweight non woven tissue of fine glass or polyester fibres applied at the surface of a laminate. It supports a resin rich surface layer that improves finish, weathering and chemical resistance, and it is standard practice in corrosion barriers for chemical plant and in pultruded profiles.
