Wind uplift testing

Testing that establishes how well a roof assembly resists the suction loads generated by wind, typically by applying static or cyclic negative pressure to a full-scale roof specimen until failure or a target load is reached. Results support wind uplift calculations and fixing specifications for mechanically fastened, adhered and ballasted flat roof systems.
