I only use prepreg occasionally, so I was wondering whether I can store it in my freezer at home instead of buying a specialist freezer.
In many cases yes, as long as the freezer can hold the storage temperature the manufacturer recommends, which is commonly around -18°C. Keep the prepreg sealed in its original packaging and out of any spot where it will be warmed repeatedly by frequent door openings or power interruptions. It is also good practice to keep the material away from food and to label it clearly so it does not get handled by mistake.
