The part looks good overall, but there are lots of tiny bubbles scattered through the laminate. They're not huge, but they are definitely visible. What usually causes this?
Small bubbles or voids are usually down to trapped air or moisture during lay-up or curing. Common causes include poor vacuum integrity, not enough debulking, poor consolidation between plies, or opening frozen prepreg before it had warmed to room temperature and letting condensation form. Checking the vacuum bag for leaks before every cure, and compacting the laminate regularly during lay-up, will usually make a noticeable difference to quality.
