E-glass chopped strand mat with emulsion bonding, 300 g/m2 areal weight and 50±10 mm fibre length, engineered for hand lay-up, filament winding, compression moulding and machine moulding with unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester systems.

E-glass chopped strand mat is manufactured from chopped fibres randomly and evenly distributed on conveyor and bonded with emulsion binder, then cut to specified widths and lengths after heat forming. The product offers even thickness and medium rigidity with excellent strand distribution and good bonding on both sides, facilitating fast wet-out with minimal bubble formation.
The material is suitable for hand lay-up, filament winding, compression moulding and machine moulding processes with unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resin systems. It is typically used to produce translucent panels, boat hulls and automobile interior parts. The product demonstrates optimum moulding performance for complex shapes with good immersion speed and fibre erosion resistance.
The product should be stored in a dry, ventilated and rainproof place to prevent rain and sun exposure. It is recommended to be consumed within 12 months from the production date and shall be kept in intact packaging when not used to avoid damp.
