A mechanically reinforced protection and separation fleece designed for use with the Groof flat and green roof assemblies. Groof Protection Fleece 300 helps safeguard waterproofing, separates incompatible materials (such as PVC and bitumen), and offers a useful water and nutrient reservoir of around 2.0 L/m².

The gRoof protection fleece is a mechanically strengthened protection and separation fleece designed for use in flat-roof and green-roof assemblies. Installed above the waterproofing layer, it helps reduce the risk of abrasion and mechanical damage during installation and throughout the roof’s service life.
The fleece also acts as an effective separation layer between incompatible materials, such as PVC and bitumen, preventing direct contact within the build-up. Additionally, it offers a water and nutrient storage capacity of roughly 2.0 litres per square metre, aiding moisture management in green roof systems.
The fleece is usually specified where waterproofing needs extra mechanical protection, where material separation is required, or where additional water retention within the roof construction is advantageous.
