Technical overview
gRoof 600 Protection Fleece is a high-performance, mechanically reinforced protection and storage layer designed for use above waterproofing membranes in green roof assemblies. It offers greater durability than lighter protection fleeces and is suitable for projects that require higher mechanical resistance and enhanced water retention.
Placed directly above the waterproofing membrane, Groof 600 protects against abrasion and installation damage while serving as an effective separation layer between incompatible materials like PVC and bitumen.
With a water storage capacity of approximately 3.5 litres per square metre, it helps retain moisture in extensive, semi-intensive, and intensive green roof systems. The fleece meets recognised roof-greening performance requirements and forms part of robust green-roof build-ups.
