Technical overview

This high-heat Novolac vinyl ester resin is formulated to deliver excellent thermal and chemical resistance to solvents, acids, and oxidising media such as chlorine. It enables the fabrication of strong and durable parts with sustained operational capability at elevated temperatures.

The resin is adapted for all standard fabrication methods, with particular suitability for filament winding, centrifugal casting, hand lay-up and spray-up processes. It can be formulated into glass flake coatings and mortars. Cured, non-reinforced resin conforms to type 1310 per DIN 16946/2 and is classified as group 5 per DIN 18820/1; per EN 13121/1, it is classified as group 8. The product holds TÜV approval for flue gas cleaning plants and KIWA approval (BRL-K 541/01) for underground petrol storage tanks.
