Traditional flat roofs rely on overlapping sheets and sealed joints. Every lap, upstand and detail is a potential weak point, and reroofing usually means tearing off the old covering, with the noise, waste and disruption that brings. On occupied buildings that can mean closing areas off for days.
A cold-applied liquid system is rolled or brushed straight onto the existing roof, curing into a single flexible skin that moves with the building and seals around every detail. There is no flame and, in most cases, no tear-off, with low odour options for sensitive sites, so schools, hospitals and offices can stay open while the work goes on.
