Vacuum-assisted resin transfer mouldingVARTM

A variant of resin transfer moulding in which resin is drawn into dry reinforcement under vacuum, typically with a rigid mould face on one side and a flexible film or light shell on the other. The term is often used interchangeably with resin infusion, particularly in North American literature.
